Bethesda Announces Prey With a Psychological Twist, Coming 2017

Bethesda during its E3 2016 media briefing announced Prey which is being developed by Dishonored II creators Arkane Studios.

According to Bethesda, Arkane Studios is reimagining the Prey franchise from ground up with an added psychological twist. The reimagined Prey revolves around Morgan Yu, a subject model of an experiment designed to improve the human race.

One morning, you wake up in Talos 1 in the year 2032 being hunted by mysterious alien race and must uncover the secrets that hide within the depth of the space station.

You are Morgan Yu, the subject of morally dubious experiments designed to improve the human race. You awaken aboard the Talos 1 in the year 2032 and must uncover the secrets hiding in the depths of the space station while being hunted by the mysterious alien force that has taken over. You’ll have to rely on the tools you find on the station – along with your wits, weapons and mind-bending abilities – to combat the growing threat and, hopefully, survive. Prey by Arkane Studios is scheduled to release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2017.
