EA PLAY: Battlefield 1 Details Reveal Dynamic Weather, Destruction, Beta Set for Summer 2016

EA DICE took to stage to reveal the next Battlefield 1 trailer. If you think the first video was intense, you may need to change your pants once you take a look at the new footage.

At EA PLAY, EA DICE announced that a Battlefield 1 beta is going to go live later this Summer. We don’t have an ETA for the game’s open beta but Battlefield 1 Insiders will get exclusive access this Summer.

Battlefield 1 is going to feature dynamic weather – Fog, Rain etc – that will impact maps and how you play the game. Destruction is a big part once again and it would feel natural.

The very first Battlefield 1 trailer gave us a look at a Zeppelin and today, EA confirmed that players will be able to control that massive beast in the air. Not only that, but armoured trained and airship are driveable as well.

EA once again stressed on how they were skeptical about World War 1. However, the studio is in awe at how this game has turned out to be.

The multiplayer live stream should be up by now and feature Jamie Foxx and Zac Efron who will compete againts each other with their own teams. The 64 player multiplayer is back and all of the above mentioned vehicles are driveable in the multiplayer as well. Of course, some modes may not feature certain types of vehicles.

The variety of weapons in this game is insane, what’s interesting is that scopes of weapons can be customized, there range can be increased and decreased by using different scopes. Moreover, there would be skins in the game which is a very interesting thing to hear because it is a World War 1 game.

Battlefield 1 is releasing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this October. Pre orders are now live on Origin, PSN and Xbox Live Store.
