Battlefield 1 Multiplayer Teaser Flaunts Melee Focused Combat

Ever brought a trench-raiding club to a gunfight? Well, looks like you will be doing all sorts of things with the Battlefield 1 multiplayer as in a new teaser trailer the developers themselves are showing it off.

Being set in the Great War era, Battlefield 1 combat system was sure to have taken major melee combat influences, and it seems that EA DICE has done so.

While teasing for a new trailer that is going to be released next week, they have shown off short clippings of some in-game footage featuring some daring melee combat instances, like the one where a guy comes raiding with a trench-raiding club as the other one loads a gun.

While you are watching the Battlefield 1 multiplayer teaser above, do keep in mind that it is a Frostbite game engine footage showing off the current quality of the game on the Xbox One.

That being said, it has also been confirmed that the full multiplayer trailer is going to be revealed on June 12, 2016. The trailer will be shown off at the Electronic Arts live shows EA Play, which are going to be held in Los Angeles (June 12 to June 14) as well as London (June 12).

June 12 is also when Electronic Arts is going to give us a full reveal of the game’s multiplayer component.

Previously, alleged names of the multiplayer maps that are going to be featured in the game were leaked followed by some orgasmic concept art that was released by the officials themselves.
