Goldberg Comments on Inclusion in WWE 2K17, Says He’s Still “Da Man”
It has been over a decade since fans of WWE saw Goldberg Jackhammer some of the best wrestlers in the show, however, now with the announcement of WWE 2K17, he is making his way back to the ring – although only digitally.
People have always wanted to see him in action, and that demand will get fulfilled when the latest iteration of the wrestling title comes out late this year.
Bill Goldberg himself also sounds very pumped at being included in the game not only as a playable wrestler but as a preorder bonus, making his appearance even more special.
There were two interesting takeaways in his comment though, firstly he credits all this more to his son that to anyone else and second, he is still as badass as ever – he just called out all the big names to prove that he is still “Da Man!”
After 12 years away from the business, I’m incredibly honoured to work with WWE and 2K while following in the footsteps of such greats as Ultimate Warrior, Sting and Arnold Schwarzenegger. My son was a big part of this coming together, and I can’t wait for him to see his dad kicking ass in a WWE ring through the magic of video games. I encountered the likes of The Rock, Triple H, Brock Lesnar and Ric Flair during my WWE career, and now through WWE 2K17, I’ll be taking on the biggest and baddest Superstars of today – showing them once and for all that I am still ‘Da Man!’
So far 2K has not revealed the exact release date of WWE 2K17, although King the first superstar to be made official for the roster was revealed back in January.
