The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine Wine is Sacred Quest Guide
Now that you have dealt with more than half of the missions that The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine has to offer and with a lot of blood being shed all around, let’s talk about some of the more sacred things, like wine.
The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine ‘Wine is Sacred Quest Walkthrough
This is a rather smaller mission that starts automatically after the ending scene of Where Children Toil, Toys Waste Away, so make the most out of it.
The Blood and Wine Quest Wine is Sacred starts with Geralt travelling to the Beauclair Palace, upon reaching the waypoint you chat with the duchess and go to Damien with her – just keep an eye out for some panthers.
On a sidenote, also keep an eye out for a yellow mark on a noticeboard, it will get you A Knight’s Tales secondary quest. Don’t waste time with the herbalist though.
The duchess will take you to a vineyard’s cellar with some loot, a ledger on the table and so on. Collect them, including the hammer and the tap, before heading to the marker on the map.
There are barrels in the top level at the far end of a walkway, open the second from left and a cutscene will start and end with some bandits wanting a fight.
There are a number of things you need to keep in mind here: the barrels are explosive, and the bandits are level 42; if you are worried about being weaker, take them on one by one when they are facing the guard.
The fight ends with a conversation after which you can make your choice to stay or leave with ducal party. Even if you stay, you will have to head to Beauclair Port and meet Damien with the duchess to end the mission.
