Kingsglaive Japanese Voice Actors Announced For Nyx and Luna
As Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15 gets closer to releasing along with the game that it will be a companion to, we’re getting more and more information. Whether it’s about screenshots of the characters or, in this case, the Kingsglaive Japanese voice actors, we’re getting more and more info about it.
Now, with these voice actor announcements, we’re getting information about the Japanese voices of two of the movie’s major roles: Nyx Ulric, and Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. Nyx is a member of the Kingdom of Lucis’s elite guard the Kingsglaive, while Lunafreya is the princess of a land called Tenebrae, conquered by the game’s antagonist faction the Niflheim Empire.
According to the website Gematsu, the Kingsglaive Japanese voice actors will have Gou Ayano for Nyx, and Shiori Kutsuna for Luna. Both actors are accomplished in Japan, and will be matched by the characters’ English voice actors. In North America and the rest of the world, Nyx and Luna will be voiced by Aaron Paul and Lena Headley, respectively.
Lena Headley is presently known as the actress that plays Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones, while Aaron Paul has played Jesse Pinkman in the award-winning television drama Breaking Bad.
Other Kingsglaive Japanese voice actors that have been announced are Tsutomu Isobe as Regis Lucis Caelum, the ruler of Lucis (voiced by Sean Bean in English) and Kingsglaive commander Drautos, voiced by Kouichi Yamadera.
Kingsglaive is supposed to be getting released in Japanese theaters on July 9, while the English version is supposed to be available for streaming and download on that day as well. Final Fantasy 15 itself will be releasing close to the beginning of the fall on September 30 on Xbox One and Playstation 4.
Until that wait is over, you can wait for Kingsglaive or catch Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, a six-episode anime miniseries available to watch online now.
