Halo 5: Guardians

The Halo 5 hog Wild update will be arriving tomorrow, May 31, on Xbox One. The update will be making a number of changes to the Warzone game mode, while also adding some new REQ items to the game’s multiplayer. These will include new types of Warthog, new armors, new weapons, and more.

The update, which will be released for free, was also supposed to have a number of even bigger items for its REQs. However, according to 343 Interactive, the new items needed a bit more polish and will not be added to the game along with the Halo 5 Hog Wild update. The new items will be arriving in June when Warzone Firefight is added to the game.

The weapons added include a set of Ultra Rare “Aurum” (Latin for Gold) weapons, and a group of Uncommon “Hybrid” weapons. There’s also two new kinds of armor: the Stinger, and the Interceptor Rictus. The Warthogs added will come in a variety of different colors and types, and players will also be getting new emblems.

Warzone has also experienced a number of changes. Enemy and boss spawns will now be less predictable and more dynamic, varying from match to match. Now, the spawns could be dropping off different bosses, rather than the same old ones game after game.

Players in the Halo 5 Hog Wild update will also now be getting better rewards for taking down bosses, giving them more incentive to go after them and kill them before other players do.

However, that’s not all that will be coming to Halo 5 in the future. Patrick Wren noted that there were new minion types, reinforcements, bosses, encounters, and more for players to go through once Warzone updates again.

In the meantime, we’ll have to be content until June when Warzone: Firefight comes out, so you’d all best get ready for tomorrow and get ready to take on the Warzone again.
