The Division is Down for Third Server Maintenance, Fans Are Furious!

Division Underground DLC

Gear up folks, another maintenance period is here as Tom Clancy’s The Division is down again. Ubisoft Massive have been bringing in down time to the game servers multiple times this week, and this will be third time fans have to be kicked from the game.

Maintenance periods are good, they are everything you ask for when a game is in need of bug fixes, however, it looks like the priorities of the developers are not in line with that of the community.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is Down Again!

The fans have been complaining immensely about a number of other problems that is harming the gameplay, but so far those have not been fixed. What is being fixed with the server maintenance this time, however, is a bug that would give players a reward even if they failed a mission.

It is ludicrous that such a bug is being fixed so quickly (a third maintenance period in a week and that too, for this bug!) while people wait endlessly for others like the broken user interface of the game.

Natchai Strappers, the community manager of Ubisoft took to the official forums and announced the two hour long downtime that starts in 10 minutes now.

Greetings Agents,

The servers will shut down for maintenance on Friday, May 27 at 11:00 AM CEST / 05:00 AM EDT / 02:00 AM PDT. Estimated downtime is approximately 2 hours.

Changelog: “Fixed a bug where players would be able to obtain the reward from High Value Target bosses after failing the mission.”

Although The Division is down for bug fixes, this was one bug that favored the players, and others that harm the gameplay are still there. What’s going on Ubisoft?

Here are just a few of the hundreds of fans who are furious because of this.
