If you’ve been having connectivity issues for the Xbox Live service today and yesterday, it’s because Xbox Live has been down for a while now in regards to its social and gaming services. This includes buying games and playing in online games, but there’s no need to panic, since Xbox tech support is already working on fixing these problems.

The problems with the Xbox Live service only started a few minutes ago after a number of issues earlier today, but thankfully they’re minor problems rather than Xbox Live being completely down or the store not registering purchases when you’ve been trying to buy them. Thankfully most of the aspects of Xbox Live are still available and usable.

Xbox Core services are still working, so you can still sign in, create, manage, or recover an account, and search for things. Xbox Live TV, Music, and Video are also still available so you can browse, purchase, download, and stream, so if you want to watch Netflix you should be able to.

Xbox.com is also available on the Xbox Live service, so you don’t have to worry about that being down, either. You can also still use the Xbox forums, the web search, and the help content.

While the Social and Gaming and Purchasing parts of the Xbox Live service are still up, they’re only available in a limited capacity, so you probably won’t be able to do much if you log into Xbox Live and try to play a game online or buy something new.
