Overwatch Level Up Fast Tips – Quick Leveling

It doesn’t matter which mode of the game you are playing, the overall XP you earn will contribute to your leveling up. Play as many games as possible to earn as much XP as you can in one sitting.

The best part is that it doesn’t matter if you win or lose. You still earn XP for playing till the end, of course, the amount of XP you earn will vary depending on whether you win or lose.

You are earning  4 XP for each second you are alive in a match. Earn medals to grab some bonus XP in the end, Gold Medal will give 150 XP, Silver hands out 100XP, and Bronze Medals are worth 50 XP.

One great tip is to never rage quite if you are looking to level up. No matter how bad you’re getting your a** handed to you, stick around till the end to earn 250 XP. In case you win the game, 500 XP are yours for the taking. You can also earn 400 XP for Backfilling.

Why worry about leveling up? Here’s why!

Loot Boxes are your Friends

Every time you level up, you will get a Loot Box – Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary. The higher your level and the more skilled your performance is, raises your chances for getting an Epic or Legendary Loot Box.

These Loot Boxes feature different cosmetic items and since they are randomized, you may get duplicate items which you can sell for credits for a new Loot Box. Moreover, leveling up to 25 will unlock competitive play in OverWatch.

How Much Time Does it Take to Unlock Competitive Play?

Depending on your skill and how much effort you put into the game, according to an estimate, it will take little over 18 hours for you to reach level 23 and above. On the safe side, make it 20 hours for you to reach level 25 to unlock competitive ranked play.

Overwatch Skins and Sprays, Customize Your Hero

Once you have managed to get your hands on Loot Boxes, it is time to customize your character. Open the Loot Box to update your character’s appearance by adding unique items.

Go to main menu of OverWatch and Select “Hero Gallery.” This will take you to a screen showing all OverWatch characters. Choose the hero you wish to customize with skins, sprays, emotes, victory poses, voice lines you have unlocked via Loot Boxes.
