In today’s video, we discuss something subjective – are video game remasters good or bad? And...
Fallout 4 Mod, Fallout Cascadia, is Bigger Than Far Harbor, Taken Six Months Already
When people are talking about a mod and comparing its size with a full game from the series it is a mod for, you know that something ambitious is going on. An interesting Fallout 4 Mod called Fallout Cascadia is just that thing.
This mod is being developed by a team of 18 developers who have been at it since the past six months – and they still don’t know how long it will take to finish.
However, that is not a bad thing seeing how the modders promise it is going to be bigger than the latest Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC (in terms of locations and quests), although they say it will, sadly, “just a bit smaller” than Fallout 3.
Fallout Cascadia takes you to a “retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic version of Seattle” years after the time of Fallout 4 and starts entirely independent of the main game. Apparently, the emphasis on the Seattle based setting is high:
This mod takes place several decades after the events of Fallout 3/NV/4. The city of Seattle is the main hub of the game. Many locations of the game focus around the city proper, including certain fair grounds, public markets, and other famous locations. The game will also include other locations to the west and south including Mercer Island, Redmond, Bellvue, forested areas and airports. The project make an effort to make the world a believable and alive one.
The developers say that they are primarily going to hiit Nexus Mods with the release and on Bethesda.net as well for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
Last but not the least, Fallout Cascadia mod is going to be free for anyone who wants to play, and the developers are also saying that it is their aim to let it run on everything that runs Fallout 4 without requiring anything additional.
So far, they are not sharing plot details about this Fallout 4 mod, but stay tuned because we are interested!
