Star Wars Battlefront and Need for Speed are coming to EA Access. EA is yet to confirm this but the official website seems to have leaked both games.

Here’s an image we managed to grab from an advert of EA Access:

Rory McIlroy PGA Tour is now added to EA Access Vault and that is what the advertisement is for. You can see both games present in the image which is either a mistake or a legit leak.

Keep in mind that a 10 hour trial is available for Battlefront via EA Access. However, Need for Speed nor Battlefront is available in EA Access Library.Current lineup of free games is as follows.

  • Battlefield 4
  • Battlefield Hardline
  • Dead Space
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • EA Sports UFC
  • FIFA 14
  • FIFA 15
  • FIFA 16
  • Madden NFL 15
  • Madden NFL 25
  • Madden NFL 16
  • NBA Live 15
  • Need for Speed: Rivals
  • NHL 15
  • Peggle 2
  • Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
  • Titanfall
  • Rory McIlroy PGA Tour
  • NBA Live 16 (May 25)

All other games you see in the image are a part of the EA Access library except Battlefront and Need for Speed.

Star Wars Battlefront and Need for Speed could both soon be added to EA Access for Xbox One and Origin users as free games.

Star Wars Battlefront released last year but hasn’t been received too well. The lack of single player campaign and a very repetitive multiplayer didn’t do justice to the name. What’s worse is that EA plans to annualize Star Wars Battlefront series. We are hearing that Battlefront 2 is releasing in 2017.

Meanwhile, Need for Speed is another franchise that’s been stale for quite some time but that was before EA took a break. The new game released last year as well and showed plenty of improvements that made the series relevant again.

EA PLAY will bring news regarding EA’s plans for 2016 and beyond so we may hear about the next Battlefront and Need for Speed game.

Battlefront isn’t worth the money in my opinion but if it is added to the vault, there is no harm in giving it a try.

EA Access is a subscription based service offering discounts, demos, early access, free games, and more for $4.99 a month. It is exclusive to Xbox One and Origin PC.
