Fallout 4 Far Harbor Side Quests Guide
Aside from the main quests which have players on a quest of finding a missing girl, there are plenty of side quests to keep you busy after you are done with the main story.
These side quests introduce players to branching stories from characters they have already met in the game’s main story and add depth to the whole experience.
Fallout 4 Far Harbor Side Quests Guide
Our Fallout 4 Far Harbor side quests walk you through everything you need to do in order to complete these optional missions:
Living on the Edge
You need to speak with Captain Avery after defending the hull in Welcome to the Park to get the quest. After accepting the mission, speak with Cassie Dalton at the docks and accept Blood Tide.
After this, complete Mariner’s Hull Breach and speak with Captain Avery to get Safe Passage. Once you are done with all the tasks, speak with Teddy Wright and accept the challenge in order to complete the quest.
You need to speak with Captain Avery after defending the hull in Welcome to the Park to get the quest. After accepting, head inside the Eagle’s Cove Tannery – you can either lockpick in or head inside from the backside of the building.
Once inside, you need to get the Tannery Key which opens a door in the same area. While leaving the tannery, you will come across Machete Mike to whom you will be able to sell the tools you acquire from the lower level of the tannery for 2750 caps. However, do note that doing this will fail Help the Mariner during Living on the Edge.
Hull Breach 2
This is triggered after you speak with Mariner after Living on the Edge. After triggering, you need to kill Bilge and some other trappers located in the area. You should also consider searching the tower and the ship wreck before speaking with Mariner in order to complete the quest.
If you decide to help Captain Avery in Living on the Edge, you will be able to trigger Safe Passage. After accepting the mission, you need to find Howard Dunbar’s corpse and get the Fog Condenser Components followed by repairing 3x condensers. Once this is done, you need to head back to Avery, report everything and complete the mission.
The Changing Tide
After completing Living on the Edge, you need to talk to Small Bertha at docks to get Turn Back the Fog, speak with Mitch at the Last Plank to get The Hold Out, and talk to Mariner to get Hull Breach 2. Once you are done with Bertha and Mitch, you need to head over to Captain Avery and speak with her in order to complete the quest and get Rescue Diver Suit.
In order to trigger this quest, you need to speak with Cassie in Far Harbor. First thing that you need to do is to kill feral ghouls at the National Park Campground and speak with Cassie. Once done, kill a Fog Crawler at Dalton Farm and speak with Cassie which will allow you to use the workshop at Dalton Farm.
Next up, you need to head over to Brooke’s Head Lighthouse and find Douglas at the top of the tower followed by looting its body. After this, you simply need to speak with Cassie and get her the Holotape in order to complete the quest.
The Hold Out
In order to trigger the quest, you need to speak with Mitch after completing Living on the Edge. The first thing that you need to do is to speak with Uncle Ken at the National Park Visitor’s Center.
After speaking with Uncle Ken, you will have to use defenses across the area and protect the area against Trappers. Once you are done with Trappers, either convince Ken to go with you or stay where he is. Either way, speak with Mitch to complete the quest and get Firebelly Recipe.
Turn Back the Fog
You need to speak with Small Bertha after completing Living on the Edge to trigger the quest. Firstly, head to Echo Lake Lumber Mill and clear the area of ghouls – you must clear them on the upper floor.
Once done, you will come across Malcolm on your way out. At this point, you will have a total of four options, all of which will complete the quest.
