Uncharted 4 Sales Top Charts in Japan in Release Week

Media Create, the digital entertainment industry analysis and statistics collector, has released the the sales figures for games as well as hardware for the week running between May 9, 2016 and May 15, 2016. Since this was the game’s release week, Uncharted 4 sales were all the more relevant this time around.

According to the statistics shared for the Japanese market by Media Create, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has managed to top the charts with an impressive 128,725 in the starting week.

The figure 128,725 was followed at number two by Nintendo 3DS title Kirby: Planet Robobot at merely 24,298 units and at number three by Level-5’s Yo-kai Sangokushi with 10,696 sales for the same week.

From what we know of the reviews that Naughty Dog’s latest has received, this is just the beginning of a long escalating sales run which is easily going to continue for the next couple of months.

While we are still trying to get our hands on Uncharted 4 sales figures for the western region, this is all we have at hand for the game.
