Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy Available, Costs $30
Last week we told you about a certain special bundle that was being promoted by BestBuy. This bundle, the Modern Warfare Trilogy, would allow people that still owned an Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3 the ability to play through all three Modern Warfare games for the low low price of around 30 dollars.
Now, that bundle is finally available to buy at BestBuy and Amazon Prime.
Granted, it’s obviously not going to look as good as the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered game that’s going to be shipping with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare when it releases, but it’s a good way to tide you over until then.
All three games in the Modern Warfare trilogy received critical acclaim during their own times, and were mainly responsible for catapulting Call of Duty into the main spotlight as something other than a game that never left World War 2.
Featuring distinct characters, a lot of awesome set pieces, and an actual plot, the games served as a departure from games like Call of Duty and Medal of Honor focusing on World War 2.
Instead, as we can see with games like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the Black Ops series, and now Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, we’re now going farther and farther into the future (even to the point where some people are hope that at some point the games turn and go backwards).
This is in direct contrast to Battlefield, which has taken these feelings to heart and is going to be releasing Battlefield One close to the end of this year, taking us away from a modern military shooter and instead sending us to World War One.
But, if you have an Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3 and are looking to play the Modern Warfare Trilogy one more time (or for the first time, if you’ve never touched the series), you can pick up the bundle for 30 dollars.
