Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2 Announced for Consoles and PC
We were expecting a reveal for Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2 today and we weren’t wrong. Namco Bandai has released Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2 announcement Trailer, giving us our first look at the game.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse released in February last and sold over three million copies around the world. It has been a major success for Bandai Namco so a sequel was imminent but isn’t it a little too soon? Hopefully, they won’t milk the franchise and keep things fresh and entertaining.
There isn’t a release for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the time being we will get to play it sometime this year.
“This is it! After a tremendous 24 hours of teasing, we are glad to announce Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2016. Enjoy the first trailer now.”
The game is current-gen only and features Borderlands like graphics. The community seems really excited for the game and we can’t wait to hear more about it. However, Bandai Namco says that the game will feature “the most detailed Dragon Ball world ever developed.” The game will be shown at E3 2016.
Players will experience a new hub city and the most character customization choices to date among other features and upgrades. If you happen to visit E3 this June, head to demo theaters located in rooms 303A&B in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc said:
“The Dragon Ball franchise is a crown jewel and a perennial fan-favorite of Bandai Namco Entertainment’s robust anime videogame portfolio and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will build upon that illustrious legacy.
With Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, we’re working diligently with the Dimps team to pull out all the stops and push the Dragon Ball videogame experience to new heights”
