Cancelled The Elder Scrolls IV PSP Footage Isn’t Half Bad
Before Skyrim there was Oblivion but not many of us remember that one because let’s face it, Skyrim rules all. The game was released way back in 2006 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It was suppose to release on PSP as well, which was the most popular handheld at the time but not so much in the U.S.
Someone recently posted some gameplay footage from the cancelled The Elder Scrolls IV PSP and it doesn’t look half bad.
Rumor has it that this game went into development hell but didn’t had the budget to recover so Bethesda cancelled it. The game looks interesting and could have been fun to play on a handheld. Unfortunately, we will never get to play it and there are no plans to release a similar game for PS Vita.
The game used a HUB world and allowed players to visit different locations from Tameriela. However, it wasn’t open world. Playing an Elder Scrolls game on PSP would have been great but there is nothing we can do about it now except wait for the next Elder Scrolls to drop.
The next Elder Scrolls would be The Elder Scrolls 6 which is rumored for E3 2016. Bethesda is hosting a press event this year to reveal more about its current and upcoming projects, and we think The Elder Scrolls 6 could be one of these projects.

What do you think of The Elder Scrolls IV PSP? Should something like this be released for handhelds by Bethesda?
