The Witcher 3 New Interface Coming with Blood and Wine Expansion
Well, there are a number of reasons to be excited about The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion, but if you are specially tired of the old user interface that the game shipped with, you have all the more reasons to look forward to the expansion, thanks to The Witcher 3 new interface.
This is because alongside Blood and Wine, CD Projekt Red is also going to introduce the new UI. According to the reports, the UI will have to be a part of the update because without it the new expansion might have compatibility issues.
However, that is not what we are here to talk about. The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine releases on May 31, 2016 and if you wish to know more about the new user interface right now, we have got a bunch of comparison videos thanks to the developers themselves.
To start with, remember how after picking up a book or a document you had to surf through the inventory to find it in order to read it? That changes with The Witcher 3 new interface because now you will be able to read the script directly.
Inventory itself also has had a number of changes; you see similar items in clear groups now. Sign switching has also been made easier because now it is doable with the analog stick alone.
The skills screen might be giving off some spoilers. It does look much better now and apparently it looks like you will get to activate more skills. This is because of the positioning of the whole thing.
There is one apparent downside though, sword damage, armor, and Sign intensity statistics have vanished leaving behind only vitality and toxicity.
Other changes have also been made to the statistics screen, crafting screen, and more. Check out the gallery below for a better idea.
