Check Out DOOM Graphics at 1080p, 60FPS with Vulkan API on Titan X
A couple of days ago we had shared with you the immense power that pumps up DOOM graphics when played using GTX 1080, the video we shared showed the game touching 200 FPS. While that was pure gold, Nvidia is now sharing how the game looks impressive even without the 1080.
A new video has been shared by the official YouTube channel of Nvidia where they are showing off DOOM graphics running the Vulkan API on their GeForce GTX Titan X.
Personal upgrades and rune perks have been set to the highest settings in terms of movement and speed and the Titan X is playing it at 120 FOV.
Marty Stratton, executive producer at id Software says that they were super interested in technical videos like this one which is why they felt bad not to have recorded more on the GTX 1080.
However, don’t be disappointed if this doesn’t give you new or unseen clips because it is a replay of the same demo that was played at the Nvidia event. Talking of the event in Austin on Saturday, Stratton says:
We were thrilled with the response to the videos that some in the audience captured and posted, but we also know you’d like to see high-res, full-screen gameplay. We weren’t capturing live, but we came back and captured this re-play of the demo. This gameplay is from a PC running Vulkan on a Titan X at 120 FOV – with the player’s personal upgrades and rune perks set for advanced speed and movement capabilities.
Impressed by the DOOM graphics? The game releases on May 13, 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
