20th Century Fox just released the Assassin’s Creed Movie trailer to give us the world premiere of the historical battle between the assassin’s and the templars, and it should suffice to say that the trailer is as impressive as Michael Fassbender himself.

The fassbender starrer is going to release on December 21, 2016 and is so hyped up that people are already talking about rumors of a sequel every time they talk about the Assassin’s Creed game that will release in 2017.

Ubisoft itself has invested about $200 million in the movie and it really does show from the Assassin’s Creed Movie trailer in question. You can check it out above.

The good news for the fans is that the film is going to share continuity with the franchise itself which means that the storyline will not be out of place for everyone who loves playing their games.

We had heard of the Assassin’s Creed movie since as long ago as 2012, but it only started filming last year in September as confirmed by Michael Fassbender in May last year.

As far as other details about the film are concerned, we have had some but most of it has been kept under the wraps. There also were some pictures from the sets of the film that were shared online a couple of months back, however, the Assassin’s Creed Movie trailer above gets you the biggest scoop on the flick.

Check out the video above to see how Fassbender is dragged to the past and how he makes new enemies from among the enemies of his forefathers.
