Madden NFL 17 Confirmed, Gameplay Reveal This Week

By   /   May 10, 2016

EA sports development has confirmed that Madden NFL 17 is in development, and the development team also announced the release date for the game. The game will release in US in August and gameplay footage will also be revealed in two days.

EA will release Madden NFL 17 this year, which is surprising as we heard no buzz about the popular game. The company confirmed last night that Madden NFL 17 will release on August 23 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox one and PlayStation 4.

It is some what surprising to see that Madden NFL 17 will be available for last generation of consoles, while all the major publishers and developers are focusing on the current gen. Also last year Madden NFL 16 was also released for last gen consoles along with current gen.

Like many other EA games, member of the EA access will get to play Madden NFL 17 early and their stats will be shifted to the final game when it releases.

The gameplay trailer for the game will debut on 12 May 2016 and it will be revealed first on ESPN.

What I am excited about is who will be the athlete for this years Madden NFL cover. Last year four finalist were announced on May 4th for Madden NFL 16`s cover which included Rob Gronkowski, Patric Peterson, Odell Beckham Jr. and Antonio Brown.

Out of these 4 players 2 finalists were announced on 12 May 2015 Gronkowski and Beckham Jr, and Beckham Jr was selected for the cover of Madden NFL 16, succeeding Madden 15 cover athlete Richard Sherman.
