In today’s video, we discuss something subjective – are video game remasters good or bad? And...
Uncharted 4 Update 1.02 Has a Few Little Fixes, Only 140 MB in Size
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will have not one, but two Day One patches, if news from Naughty Dog is to be believed. Uncharted 4 update 1.02 will be releasing tomorrow alongside the original Day One patch that would be releasing alongside the base game.
However, it’s definitely the smaller of the two patches. Where the first Day One patch clocks in at five gigabytes, patch 1.02 will only require 140 megabytes of your bandwidth. There’s pretty much nothing that tells us what few updates will be in Uncharted 4 update 1.02 (just general fixes and improvements), but we do know what patch 1.01 will have.
The fixes for 1.01 include multiple updates for the game’s multiplayer, along with an “Encounter Select” menu (though we’ve got no idea what that is.) The update also includes things like character skins, a photo mode, a character model viewer, render modes, gameplay modes, and a weapon selector.
Uncharted 4 update 1.02 will most likely just be to make sure that all of the add-ons that are coming with 1.01 will be stable, or fixing glitches that the Naughty Dog team found in the 1.01 patch and the base game just after making sure that the patch would be downloading.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be the final entry in Nathan Drake’s story, and has been repeatedly talked up by Naughty Dog to be one of the best and biggest games coming out on the Playstation 4 this generation.
The studio has already put out a number of dev diaries talking about their high hopes for the game, and Naughty Dog has even gotten congratulations from Xbox president Phil Spencer for being able to complete the game.
We still have somewhere around nine and a half hours until we can start to download Uncharted 4, but hopefully both updates will be able to make the game an experience to remember.
