Infinity Ward Congratulated DICE On Battlefield 1 Reveal
Last Friday DICE Battlefield 1 reveal nearly broke the internet. The trailer managed to not only impress fans, it also left a good impression on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare developers at Infinity Ward. Infinity Ward congratulated DICE and also gave kudos to the developing studio, they posted on their Facebook page that the footage shown last Friday was great.
Infinity Ward just did not stop there, as former Naughty Dog team member and current Director of Communications at Infinity Ward, Eric Monacelli, tweeted:
Congrats to the @EA_DICE team on the reveal. Great song choice, looks superb with interesting mechanics teased.
Game designer Doug Holder of Infinity Ward also came forward and posted on social media that Battlefield 1 reveal was “SICK” and also offered congratulations to DICE.
While reading these positive sentiments from Infinity Ward we can only assume that these words of kindness are the reaction to DICE developers bashing Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare’s reveal trailer and proving themselves right in the end.
While Infinity Ward is praising DICE for its efforts on their upcoming game, a lot of fans have shown nothing but hate towards Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s trailer. However, Activision has managed to provide a diplomatic answer to the fan’s overwhelming hate by saying that when Black Ops 2 was revealed it was disliked by a legion of fans, but still Black Ops 2 was the most successful title for Activision. The CEO of Activision further said that pre-orders for Infinite Warfare are strong.
Which be believe is due to them bundling Call of Duty 4 remastered with it.
In any case, both games have release dates quite close to each other and it is inevitable that fans will support their favorite title.
It is good to see that Infinity Ward is taking the route of friendly competition, and we hope that other developing studios also do the same; be good sports. However, earlier comments from DICE were highly unprofessional.
What do you think of Infinity Ward congratulating DICE? And Battlefield 1 reveal last Friday? Let us know in the comments.
