DICE Uses Poop and Pants Emoji for Battlefield 5, Just Like COD Did
Well, just before the world premier of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, someone on Twitter told Infinity Ward if COD 4 remastered came out he will poop his pants.
Infinity Ward replied with a Poop and Pants emoji. Now, the same emoji is used by EA DICE to promote the reveal of Battlefield 5, which is set for later today.
Call of Duty devs have been bad mouthing Call of Duty since its reveal just a few days ago. One of the devs went on to say that the game looks to be from 2010, it has dull lighting and poor depth of field. EA DICE devs kept promoting their Friday reveal at the expense of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and now using the same emoji another light jab to COD.
Today I watched the new COD trailer. How Quaint! Those cute little free-cam shots, precious 2010 graphics and grade school editing! Quaint!
The media and fans criticised EA DICE for such behavior which resulted in them apologizing publicly. Battlefield 5 will be revealed later today but a brief teaser has already been shared. From the first look, we can say that it is visually more appealing than Call of Duty but that doesn’t mean devs should feel free to bash the competition this way.
Being humble gets you places.
As for Call of Duty, Infinite Warfare trailer is now one of the most hated YouTube gaming videos. However, that doesn’t seem to bother Activision.
According to the company, their pre order numbers are strong so YouTube dislikes aren’t an issue. High pre order numbers could be due to the fact that they are bundling Modern Warfare remastered with it, rather then selling it separately.
