Battlefield 1 Review Roundup

Even though DICE only unveiled its newest Battlefield game a few hours ago, Battlefield 1 is already available for digital pre-order and pre-download on the Xbox One. The game, which takes place during the First World War as the “genesis of all-out warfare” stands in direct contrast to Call of Duty.

While Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be going further into the future and straight into space, Battlefield 1 will be going in the opposite direction.

Battlefield fans will have the option to pre-order either the Standard Edition of the game, which comes with the base game and the Hellfighters Pack. The Harlem Hellfighters, officially named as the 369th Infantry Regiment of the United States Army, was the first African-American regiment to serve in the war with the American Expeditionary Force.

Their name was given to them due to their toughness and never losing a man to capture or giving ground to the German forces. The Hellfighters Pack is in recognition of their heroic deeds, and contains themed items.

You can also pre-order the Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Edition, which gives you the Hellfighters Pack and the Deluxe Edition content, which includes the Red Baron Pack, and the Lawrence of Arabia Pack. Both of these contain different themed items (including weapons, vehicles, and more) from two of the national heroes of the war. You will also get five battlepacks. The Early Enlister edition will also allow you to start playing the game three days early, on October 18.

If you really want the game, however, you can pre-order the Collector’s Edition. This bundle includes the base game, a 14 inch tall statuette, an exclusive steel book, a cloth poster, a deck of playing cards, a messenger pigeon tube with exclusive DLC content inside, a patch, and premium packaging.

Battlefield 1 will release world-wide for all players on October 21.
