Persona 5 Release Date Set for September 15 in Japan, Anniversary Edition and Anime Series Announced

During a livestream event, Atlus announced that Persona 5 release date is set for Sept. 15, 2016 in Japan. There is no announcement regarding the game’s release date in west.

Persona 5 was originally slated to release back in 2014 before getting delayed to 2015 and then to summer 2016.

During the livestream event, Atlus also shared a brand new trailer of the game which contains some recent footage and the game’s release date. You can watch the entire trailer attached below:

Aside from the new trailer and Persona 5 release date, an anime series dubbed The Day Breakers was also announced, but we do not have much information regarding it as of now:

Lastly, Atlus also confirmed Persona 5 Anniversary Edition which includes an art book, the game’s complete soundtrack, and the game’s DLC.

In relevant Persona 5 news, following the game’s website getting hacked and people getting their hopes up regarding a PC version of the game, Atlus USA PR Manage, John Hardin, clarified that there will not be a Persona 5 PC port. To read up more, head over to the post!

Persona 5 is scheduled to release for Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 on Sept. 15, 2016 in Japan.
