Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Has No Load Screens Between Ground and Aerial Combat
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has no load screens during transition from ground to aerial combat. As you know, Infinite Warfare will take us to space for the first time where we will have Top Gun like dog fights.
Going from ground to aerial with loading screens would have broken the flow of gameplay so this is a very smart move from Infinity Ward.
While speaking with IGN, Infinity Ward revealed:
you can be boots on ground, fighting through the streets of a city on earth, call down your Jackal, get into it, fly up through the atmosphere, engage in a dogfight over the orbit of earth, finish that dogfight, land on the deck of the carrier, get into the carrier, go up to the bridge, and order your ship to go to the next mission and all of it happens seamlessly with no loading screens
Devs are trying to fulfill your “Top Gun fantasy” by adding seamless space battles to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Sadly, apart from dog fights there doesn’t seem to be anything that we haven’t seen in previous Call of Duty games. In fact, we spotted a couple of things that Infinite Warfare borrowed from Advanced Warfare and COD 4 Modern Warfare.
Speaking of COD 4, the game is being remastered and bundled with Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition, Legacy Pro Edition, and Digital Deluxe Edition.
Both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare remastered will release on November 4 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
