Nikkei Claims Nintendo NX Specs And Price Will Reveal Later This Year

According to Nikkei, Nintendo will reveal Nintendo NX specs and features along with game line up for launch and price for Nintendo NX.

Japanese news outlet Nikkei claims that Nintendo has a big reveal planned for later this year. According to Nikkei, Nintendo will reveal Nintendo NX specs and features along with game line up for launch and price for Nintendo NX later this year.

Well, that is a lot of information to be revealed since it is rumored that Nintendo NX will have a launch line up of games more than Wii U had in its entire lifespan. Nintendo won’t appear at E3 2016 so we can expect the company to hold its own event, similar to PlayStation Experience.

Nintendo Experience, may be?

Nintendo announced that it will be launching Nintendo NX in 2017. That is quite a shocker for many Nintendo fans who were hoping that Nintendo NX will arrive in holiday 2016. While analysts have said that by moving its release date to 2017 Nintendo will avoid a direct clash with PlayStation VR and rumored PS4K upgrade.

Nintendo has released an official statement:

Nintendo previously announced that it would release more information about its next system, code-named NX, this year. As the first announcement of any NX information, Nintendo confirmed that NX is scheduled to launch in March 2017. NX will not make an appearance at the upcoming E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles in June and will be unveiled later this year.

Nintendo NX release window was revealed yesterday during its annual financial results meeting. It was confirmed that the console will launch in March 2017.

Exactly when the Nintendo NX specs will be revealed is currently unknown, but we are sure that the company will stick to its usual tactics and make the reveal through Nintendo Direct broadcast.
