Rumour: The Next Call of Duty Reveal Scheduled for Coming Tuesday
According to a leaked marketing document, the next Call of Duty reveal will come sometime around next Tuesday i.e. May. 3, 2016. The document in question arrives from games critic Jim Sterling.
A snapshot of the document – attached above – shows that marketing material for Call of Duty 2016 will arrive in store on next Tuesday and will replace header boards for Wii U exclusive game Star Fox Zero. We do not know from which retailer the alleged document has originated!
Call of Duty Reveal
Judging from previous Call of Duty reveal patterns, the new installments are always officially announced during this time of the year – multiplayer reveal comes later on.
Keeping in view the three-year development cycle, Call of Duty 2016 is being developed by Infinity Ward that previously worked on Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, we recently came to know that elite3D Studio – worked on Ryse: Son of Rome, HITMAN, Star Citizen – are co-developing Call of Duty 2016.
We have also been coming across speculations of the next Call of Duty game to be a sequel of Call of Duty: Ghosts since the game ended on a high note and left a few questions unanswered! I, on the other hand, am inclined to believe that the upcoming Call of Duty reveal will definitely bring something other than Call of Duty: Ghosts 2.
What do you think this year’s Call of Duty reveal will bring forth – Ghosts 2 or something else?
