DOOM SnapMap Showcased by id Software in an Hour-Long Livestream

During an hour-long livestream, DOOM’s developer id Software showcased the game’s map and mode editor DOOM SnapMap.

DOOM SnapMap was originally announced back at E3 2015 and brings a host of in-game tools for customizable modes, customizable maps, and a lot more.

Scheduled to release alongside DOOM next month, during an hour-long livestream, the developer id Software touched upon various DOOM SnapMap tools and how each one can be used to create a range of content. You can check out the entire livestream footage attached below:

The developer id Software has promised another livestream scheduled to go live tomorrow which will showcase some brand new footage from DOOM’s single-player campaign.

We recently had a chance to try out DOOM open beta which, in all honesty, was far from DOOM that we were expecting it to be! Becoming stale and repetitive merely after a couple of games, here is to hoping that DOOM SnapMap will keep things fresh and interesting for a while.

DOOM is scheduled to release for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One on May. 13, 2016.
