The Division Update Fixes Issues But Adds Lag, Possible Workaround
The Division update released earlier that made many fixes and improvements and dealt with some major exploits. But it seems it has created a different issue for gamers.
The Division players report that the latest update has introduced crippling lag. They claim that other games are working fine online, there isn’t any issue with online connectivity but still The Division’s lag is making it impossible to play the game.
While this is worrying, the good news is that Ubisoft is aware of the problem. However, we don’t know when will they release a hotfix to resolve this issue.
The team is aware of this and are looking into it. Apologies for the inconvenience
For now, you will have to either suffer or try restarting the game. Some users say that restarting game fixed the problem for them.
The Division released back in March and since then have fallen victim to exploiters, hackers, and now lag. Overall it is a decent game but there is a lot of room of improvement.
Ubisoft is always quick to compensate players but slow to react to issues. With Assassin’s Creed Unity the French publisher cancelled the season pass and gave away free content to make up for its buggy release. In this case, The Division players will get 150 Phoenix Credits for logging into the game this weekend. Meanwhile, 500 credits are promised to those who lost their characters on Xbox One and faced high-end backpack glitch.
The Division is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
