Dark Souls Online Servers are back online on PC. Players can now enjoy online multiplayer but we still don't know why servers were down in the first place.

Dark Souls online servers are back online today after being offline for almost a week. We still don’t know why they were offline and why are they now back online.

There was a theory that says the issue was due to internal changes with “usemms” function that closed off the game’s multiplayer functionality.

In any case, you can now play the game online in co-op mode with friends or random players. Dark Souls released back in 2011 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game laid the foundation for its successors Dark Souls 2 and the newly released Dark Souls 3.

Before the arrival of Dark Souls 3, From Software released a PS4 exclusive called Bloodborne. Dark Souls 3 takes lots of pointers from Bloodborne to provide better combat pacing, weapons and more.

Speaking of Dark Souls 3, we recently found out that From Software is banning legitimate players as well as cheaters from the game.

Numerous players are reporting that they have been banned for no apparent reason; they didn’t use mods, no cheats etc. A large amount of PC user base is experience this issue and so far From Software hasn’t resolved it.

It is a very frustrating issue that devs need to resolve as quickly as possible. Lets see how long it takes for From Software to deal with the problem .
