Batman Arkham HD Collection is a Thing, Details Leaked
With the mountain of bad press that came with the release of Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC back in 2015, Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios seem to now be trying to get back into the good graces of the gaming community. With that, details of the Batman Arkham HD Collection seem to have been leaked.
The collection apparently will contain the first two Arkham games, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Batman: Arkham Origins, the one game in the series that was not developed by Rocksteady Studios and is seen as a low point by many of the series’ fans, will not be included.
Both of the games included will also include all of their DLC, and the collection will be available on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Pre-orders will be available starting tomorrow, and the entire Batman Arkham HD Collection will be available to buy on June 10.
Rumors about an HD re-release of the Arkham Games have been a rumor ever since March of last year, and now, it seems like it’s time.
Half of the Batman Arkham games got critical acclaim for finally being a good game about a DC superhero that was not a licensed game, though it can also be attributed to the Batman movies that were coming out around the same time. With their excellent combat and story, creative use of Batman’s signature gadgets, and for being able to fight a good portion of Batman’s rogues gallery.
The Batman Arkham HD Collection was speculated to be a release on Christmas of 2015, but that’s obviously not true, and is most likely a good thing due to the bad PC release of Batman: Arkham Knight.
If you want to relive Batman’s adventures in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, then you might get a pre-order of the collection starting tomorrow or when the game becomes available.
