Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Closed Beta To Run From April 22 to April 26
Mirror`s Edge Catalyst release is nearing and developers have decided to run a closed beta to perfect this already well-cooked idea and rid it off with game-breaking bugs.
The Mirror`s Edge Catalyst closed beta will continue for five days from April 22 to April 26 but the registration for the closed beta has ended according to the official Mirror`s Edge website.
Those who will be chosen to take part in Mirror`s Edge Catalyst closed beta will be contacted through e-mail. That`s not all, those who will take part in beta and become Mirror`s Edge Catalyst`s front-runners will have early access to exclusive content, in-game rewards and will receive e-mails with important updates about world of Mirror`s Edge Catalyst.
According to the developers, those who participate in the closed beta will be also be able to play main missions, side missions and other optional content which is part of the “Social Play” function. The purpose of this beta is to test online functions and other systems before launch.
Social Play is a new system introduced in the Mirror`s edge Catalyst to substitute the multiplayer component.
Using this system, players will be able to make custom challenges in the open world of Mirror`s Edge Catalyst and then these challenges will be sent to their friends and other players all over the world to test their skills giving them a chance to be at the top of the leaderboard.
Mirror`s Edge catalyst is set to release on May 24, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC.
