Dark Souls 3 Illusory Walls Locations To Unlock Secret Hidden Areas

Dark Souls 3 Illusory walls lead to all the secret hidden areas in the game. These Illusory Walls are scattered around the in-game world and house a variety of goodies and other valuables.

In order to access these Dark Souls 3 hidden areas, you need to find an Illusory Wall and hit it to behold the mysteries lying on the other side.

Dark Souls 3 Illusory Walls Locations

This hidden areas guide details the locations of all Dark Souls 3 Illusory Walls:

Irithyll of the Boreal Valley
Nearest Bonfire: Pontiff Sulyvahn

Head out the door, head up the stairs on the left, through the valley, and into the door on the far end. Once inside, the Illusory Wall is the one on your immediate left.

Farron Keep
Nearest Bonfire: Old Wolf of Farron

Head back towards the swamp and turn left. Once in the new area, head up the stairs and find the Illusory Wall on the left side – adjacent to Crystal Lizard spawn area.

Firelink Shrine
Nearest Bonfire: Firelink Shrine

Head towards the right side of the building via upper stairwell and inside the castle turret. From the bridge, jump onto the rooftop of the shrine and drop down onto the lower level of the roof. Head towards the front and you will see another stairwell leading into the building. From there, walk along the beams and towards the back of the room – the Illusory Wall should be right in front of you.

The Illusory Wall is in the very same room that houses that Bonfire.

Head down the stairs and straight into the room with some dead demons and enemies. From there, head inside the tunnel and find the Illusory Wall on your immediate left as soon as come across a wall right in front of you.

From the bottom area with large pyromancer demons, proceed through a tunnel system until you come across a hole in the ground. Veer right from this direction to find some rats and a somewhat grassy room. After entering the room, the wall right in front of you is an Illusory Wall.

You will find the Illusory Wall on the level underneath the huge gap.

After heading inside the previous Illusory Wall, you will find a Wooden Treasure Chest which will yield 3x Large Titanite Shards and another Illusory Wall directly behind it.

Irithyll of the Boreal Valley
Nearest Bonfire: Anor Londo

With the staircase down, descend it to head inside the original place of the Blade of the Darkmoon Covenant. Once there, the Illusory Wall is the one on the exact opposite side.

Lothric Castle
Nearest Bonfire: Lothric Castle

Head through the door leading towards the Dragon Barracks Bonfire, head left, then right, and then up the stairs. From there, head towards the base of the tower through the door on the right. Once in the new area, defeat the Winged Knight and climb the ladder. The Illusory Wall is on the left side of the barrels.
