Doom FOV Slider and Volume Slider for Announcer Added to Xbox One

Doom open beta will kick off in a few days and it will be out chance to try out the game before its final release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. However, some news have come up from the closed beta that claims that the FOV Slider update has been released for the Xbox One version as well.

It was released for PS4 previously.

Gaf user claims that along with Doom FOV Slider, a new volume slider for announcer has been added as well. Moreover, damage numbers toggle has also been added to Doom.

Doom open beta will start on April 15 and will end on April 17. Two maps will be available to players – Heatwave, and Infernal.  Two games are accessible – Team Deathmatch, and Warpath  – that support 6v6 each.

Participants have access to a range of different weapons including Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Super Shotgun, Vortex Rifle, Static Rifle, Heavy Assault Rifle, and Lightning Gun. Other equipment include Frag Grenade, Personal Teleporter, Siphon Grenade Power Weapons: Gauss Cannon.

You can start preloading the Doom beta client on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The download size varies depending on your platform ( 5.4GB to 10GB).

Doom worldwide release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC is set for May 13.

Following its release there will be three different pieces of DLC released for it. The first DLC pack will include:

  • Three new maps
  • One new weapon
  • One new playable demon
  • One new armour set
  • One new piece of equipment
  • New hack modules and taunts
  • New customization colours and patterns
