XCOM 2 Mod Adds Fire Emblem’s Relation Building
A new XCOM 2 mod called Squad Cohesion developed by RealityMachina brings Fire Emblem`s relationship building elements to the game.
The official description given by the RealityMachina:
This mod puts a dash of Fire Emblem into your XCOM, leveraging a “squadmate score” system left in by Firaxis to give small buffs for squads that trust in each other.
LATEST UPDATE: Added button for displaying a soldier’s individual relationships in the armory.
The Xcom 2 mod does not makes the game look like Fire emblem but it brings the relationship building elements for your squad members.
Some actions will increase the bond between the squad members, like healing and carrying a squad member out of the battle.
With the increase in the relationship stats, the squad members will earn stats like, at 300 points the squad works as normal. At 300 to 600 pints the squad gains a buff of +2 Aim, +2 Def, +1 Mobility, +5 Hacking, and +10 Will.
At 600 to 1200 points, the squad gains a buff of +5 aim, +5 Def, +2 Crit Chance, +10 hacking, +1 Mobility and +15 Will.
And past 1200 points, a deployed squad will gain a buff of +5 aim, +5 Def, +5 crit chance, +2 Mobility, +15 hacking, and +20 Will.
If a squad member falls in the battle, other surviving members attached to the him/her will gain a shaken status. This will decrease the will of the entire squad.
The higher the relationship stat between the members, more likely this will occur.
