Tomb Raider 2 Unreal Engine 4 Remake in the Works

Tomb Raider 2 Unreal Engine 4 Remake is in the works and it looks amazing. Hopefully, Square Enix won't drop the hammer on this one.

Unreal Engine 4 is highly popular among developers these days, especially the ones who are working on remakes of classic titles. Creator Nicobass is currently busy coding away in Unreal Engine 4 for developing Tomb Raider 2 remake.

The project will take some time but below is a video and a gallery that will give you a taste of what Tomb Raider 2 would look like in Unreal Engine 4.

Unreal Engine 4 makes this game look just like a next-gen title. We have witnessed the power of Unreal Engine 4 previously with The Fan Legacy Metal Gear Solid as well.

Metal Gear Solid remake got a demo today so that is your chance to try out a fan-made game from Unreal Engine 4. With Metal Gear Solid, there were some issues with its publisher but we hope Square Enix won’t mind Nicobass developing Tomb Raider 2.

If they did, Tomb Raider 2 Unreal Engine 4 remake will suffer the same fate as The Legend of Zelda. Some fans were trying to bring back the original The Legend of Zelda as a 3D browser game.

The series is celebrating its 30th anniversary and it seemed like the right gift for the community but Nintendo asked developers to take down the website.

Developers of The Legend of Zelda have uploaded the code to Github so others can learn from it.

Tomb Raider 2 remake is still some time away and hopefully it will see the light of day. Which classic games would you like to see remade in Unreal Engine 4? Share what you think in the comments below.
