Raiders of the Broken Planet is the New Game from MercurySteam

By   /   7 months ago

Spanish developers MercurySteam have previously worked on the brilliant gothic hack and slash adventures of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 1 and 2 and are now slowly revealing their next exciting project. Thanks to a filing for a trademark with the Intellectual Property of the European Union, the name of the title has been revealed as Raiders of the Broken Planet.

There is also a teaser on their official website with an interesting interactive image on a pilot at the helm of some sort of spaceship. Navigating the console in front of him leads to a timer that is counting down until April 15 at 11am ET, where we can only assume some sort of official announcement will be made via the site.

You can also have a look at MercurySteam’s old ‘missions’, by which they mean video games of course including Castlevania but also Scrapland and Clive Barker’s Jericho. If their history is anything to go by then Raiders of the Broken Planet could shape up to be a real hit.
