Dark Souls 3 Gestures is another returning feature from earlier SoulsBorne games.

Similar to earlier iterations, Gestures in Dark Souls 3 are used to express emotions as well as direct other players. In addition to this, gesturing to Fire Keeper in Firelink Shrine makes her react to your characters.

Dark Souls 3 Gestures Locations

With a total of 33 Dark Souls 3 Gestures in the game, some are unlocked by default while others require speaking with NPCs scattered around the game world.

Point Forward
This gesture is unlocked by default.

Point Up
This gesture is unlocked by default.

Point Down
This gesture is unlocked by default.

This gesture is unlocked by default.

You need to speak with Yoel of Londor near the Foot of the High Wall Bonfire.

Call Over
You need to trade a Homeward Bone with the crows.

You need to speak with Cornyx in the Undead Settlement first and then in the Firelink Shrine.

You need to speak with Leonhard once he appears in Firelink Shrine and obtain the Cracked Red Orbs. Once done, talk to him again to obtain a key to a locked door under the Tower on the Wall Bonfire in High Wall of Lothric leading to Darkwraith. You need to kill the Darkwraith to get a Red Eye Orb and speak with Leonhard again to learn the gesture.

Quiet Resolve
You need to speak with Horace at the Halfway Fortress Bonfire.

Jump for Joy
This gesture is unlocked by default.

This gesture is unlocked by default.

You will get learn this during the Siegward questline.

You need to speak with Blacksmith Andre to learn the gesture.

Praise the Sun
You simply need to pray at the Altar of Sunlight in Lothric Castle.

You need to fight the Knight Slayer Tsorig in the Demon Ruins – the outcome does not matter.

This gesture is unlocked by default.

Proper Bow
You need to kill Heyzel in the Farron Keep and get a Pale Tongue to the Rosaria’s Fingers Covenant. After extinguishing three flames, you will see her summon sign at Keep Ruins Bonfire. Once done, you simply need to summon her and get the gesture.

Dignified Bow
You simply need to meet the Yuria of Londor.

Duel Bow
You need to get 5 Dark Sigils by leveling up with Yoel and then get it by summoning the Londor Pale Shade who appears in different locations.

Legion Etiquette
You need to pray to the Old Wolf statue found in the Farron Swamp.

Darkmoon Loyalty
You need to speak with Sirris in Firelink Shrine to learn the gesture.

By My Sword
Received from summoning Black Hand Gotthard. He will perform the gesture as he is summoned.

You need to meet up with Irina.

Silent Ally
Given by Orbeck of Vinheim once he relocates to Firelink.

You simply need to rest at a Bonfire.

You need to meet up with Hawkwood.

Patches Squat
You need to speak with Patches in the Firelink Shrine.

You need to reply in negation to Patches when he apologizes.

You need to speak with Siegward of Catarina after killing the demon.

After learning Toast from Siegward of Catarina, speak with him again after he has gone to sleep.

Curl Up
You need to get Greirat of the Undead Settlement a Loretta’s Bone and learn the gesture.

Stretch Out
You need to head over to the Profaned Capital near the first Bonfire and learn it near the corpse there.

Path of The Dragon
This is required to access the Archdragon Peak and is learned from corpse after Oceiros, the Consumed King.
