League of Legends Patch 6.8 Notes Revealed by Riot, Taric Rework and More
League of Legends Patch 6.8 will be releasing soon, and will include a large number of skins (including the championship ones), balance changes, the second half of the splash art overhaul, and a rework of one of League’s oldest champions: Taric.
The balance changes are only for three heroes for the moment: Kayle, Master Yi, and Rumble will have their abilities buffed or nerfed. Kayle’s Holy Fervor ability will now no longer have an effect on armor. Master Yi’s Highlander ability now only reduces his cooldowns from 70% to 50% in its passive form. Rumble’s Equalizer ability has had its cooldowns reduced by ten seconds.
Three items have also been hit with balance adjustments. The Corrupting Potion has been changed so that it’s better for your mana, but not so much for your health: Its health restore per charge has been reduced by 25 to now restore 125 health per charge instead of 150, while your mana restoration has been increased from 50 to 75.
The Ironblade Gauntlet has had its unique passive nerfed to do 100% armor damage instead of 125%. The Mercurial Scimitar has had its own armor damage lowered from 75 to 70.
The patch also introduces a number of new skins from the championship series, including Infernal Diana, an SKT Squad skin for Alistair, Elise, Renekton, Ryze, and Sivir.
There will also be a new login screen.
League of Legends Patch 6.8 will also have new splash art coming to the game, and it will depict a number of different heroes in a variety of their different skins.
The store has also been adjusted; the ban and pick process will now be active, and the store itself is a more modernized look and higher-def art.
There’s no real day for League of Legends Patch 6.8 yet, but hopefully when it comes out the reaction will be positive and you can dress up your heroes in the snazzy SKT costumes.
