Forza 6 Top Gear Car Pack Released With Top Notch Cars
Turn 10 Studios has finally released Forza Motorsport 6’s newest downloadable content pack. The Forza 6 Top Gear Car Pack will include 7 different cars, the personal picks of the hosts of the British car show Top Gear.
The Top Gear staff have picked seven different cars that they enjoy, and include the Rolls-Royce Dawn, Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7, Audi R8 V10 Plus, Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, Ferrari FXX K, Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR and Jaguar XJ-S.
The trailer for the DLC pack, narrated by one of the new Top Gear hosts, Chris Evans, was released earlier today.
Forza has had something of a tradition with Top Gear across all of its games, where the Top Gear Test Track (where the show sends a celebrity to do a lap in a reasonably priced car under the coaching of their mysterious “tame racing driver” the Stig) has been a driving track in all three games.
Top Gear hasn’t been in the news since early last year when Jeremy Clarkson, the former lead host, was fired from Top Gear due to striking a producer in an argument. Hammond and May quickly quit in protest, and the three are now in the middle of shooting a new show that will be shown on Amazon Prime.
This cast doubts on the future of Forza 6, but ever since the game was released in September of 2015 on Xbox One (and with Forza Motorsport 6 Apex coming up on PC) those doubts have obviously gone away.
The Forza 6 Top Gear Car Pack will also include a number of Top Gear-inspired monthly challenges, which allows players to compete not only against one another in challenges, but also against Top Gear editors. The first of these challenges is scheduled to begin next week.
The DLC pack will be available for seven dollars (or 6 Euros) on the Xbox One, and will give you the seven cars listed above.
