The Division Cheaters to Be Permanently Banned After manual Review
Tom Clancy’s The Division has had a very shady launch especially since there were so many glitches and exploits that The Division cheaters have been using actively.
Aimbots, Wall Hacks, Infinite Ammo and Invincibility were but a few of the hacks that were being used by the cheaters right from day one. However, until now the developers have not have not had the strictest policy against them.
This changes very soon. Ubisoft’s development team is now preparing to start permanent bans for those who are repeating the offense.
The community manager for Ubisoft, Yanncik Banchereau has said that after patch 1.1 lands, there will a feature for users to report other cheaters in the game. Their complaints will then be manually reviewed by Ubisoft reps so that no one is banned unjustly.
If the reported person is confirmed to be one of The Division cheaters, their account will be suspended for three days with a warning. This is the first and only warning they will get because if they are caught once more, they will be banned for life.
It has also been revealed that the developers are going to keep looking at community reports as well as automatic flags against player accounts in order to pick out the cheaters. However, they are currently looking for a better solution and will deploy that when it is ready.
Moreover, the developers say that PS4 and Xbox One do not really have a cheating problem it is basically the PC version of the game that is plagued just like a number of other PC games.
