Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Replay Value is Amazing, Says the Voice of Adam Jensen
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set for release in August this year and the voice actor behind protagonist Adam Jensen has been explaining how excited he is for fans to get their hands on the game. In particular the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided replay value is expected to be a lot better by offering much more variety compared to the previous instalment thanks to the decisions required by the player.
Speaking with Video Game Sophistry, Elias Toufexis spoke in length on the latest cyperpunk action game and insisted that the “story in particular is really good”.
He explains “In Deus Ex, you meet a character and have ten different ways to talk to the character”. Toufexis carries on by saying, “The choices you are offered are gamechangers. The way you play affects the story, less the character”. Fans of the series have already spent plenty of time with Jensen and it seems that Eidos Montreal are focussing more on the story around him this time.
“The way you play affects the people you meet. The side-quests you complete could change an entire arc of the story. This game is going to have, I think, amazing replay value.”
In Deus Ex: Human Revolution there were multiple endings but they were mainly restricted to how you went about dealing with enemies – so if you went on a killing spree or spared as many people as possible. This time around there will be various chunks of story that will be unlocked (or missed entirely and revisited on later playthroughs) depending on the choices you make.
Here’s the full interview with Toufexis, where he explains the reasons for the game’s delay as well as delving further into the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided replay value:
