Amazon UK Changes Quantum Break Pre-Order Bonus
You might want to hold off on heading to Amazon in order to get the Quantum Break pre-order bonus, if you live in the United Kingdom.
A recent update from the British version of the online retailing giant has said that the game’s previous pre-order bonus, another game from Remedy Entertainment, “Alan Wake’s American Nightmare,” will no longer be available if you want to pre-order the game in the United Kingdom.
Unfortunately we have had to make a slight change to the pre-order bonus for Quantum Break. We are no longer able to offer Alan Wake’s American Nightmare as the bonus content. However, we still want to make sure that you can get to play a classic Xbox 360 game on your Xbox One when you pre-order Quantum Break, so instead we are excited to offer you a code for Kameo: Elements of Power. We will be sending this over by email as per the terms and conditions below and we hope you enjoy playing with your new free game.
Kameo: Elements of Power is an action role-playing beat-em-up game produced by Rare in 2005. In it, you controlled a fairy, the eponymous Kameo, as she fights to save her kingdom from the evil troll king Thorn, while using her magical transformation abilities to fight off enemies. The game won a good deal of praise for its stunning graphics, and was recently re-released as part of the Rare Replay collection, a collection of all 50 Rare titles.
While generally thought of as a solid title (it got positive reviews across the board), it’s definitely not as good as American Nightmare would have been. If you’re still looking for a Quantum Break pre-order bonus that’s worth your money, you’d probably be better off pre-ordering it from a store like GameStop or someplace like that.
