Pokemon Sun and Moon Footage to Debut in Early April

Pokemon Sun and Moon will get its very first footage via a Japan's weekly variety show, Gathering at the Pokémon House on April 3.

Pokemon Company has confirmed that the first footage from Pokemon Sun and Moon will debut on April 3. They plan on revealing it during the Gathering at the Pokémon House weekly Japan variety show.

Junichi Masuda will be joined by director Shigeki Morimoto and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire director Shigeru Ohmori to share more details about Sun and Moon along with revealing the new footage.

We don’t know the full list of platforms the game will release on. There is a debate if it should be released on the upcoming Nintendo NX or not. However, what we do know for sure is that Nintendo will release Pokemon Sun and Moon on 3DS.

As for the release date of the game itself, it will presumably release sometime in Fall 2016. But Nintendo is yet to officially confirmed a release date.

Pokemon is Nintendo’s biggest asset along with The Legend of Zelda, Mario etc. But the franchise over the years has become too familier, there are some innovations required to freshen things up a little.

Lets hope Sun and Moon brings some fresh new gameplay features to the series.
