New The Witcher 3 Patch Goes Live Earlier; Changes and Screenshots Inside

There’s not too much known about the Blood and Wine expansion for last year’s critically acclaimed game The Witcher 3, but a few glimpses of the DLC have been spotted.

In the recent panel held at the GDC, Animation Technical Director of CD Projekt Red Piotr Tomsinski showed off a small clip of the Blood and Wine expansion of The Witcher 3.

The panel largely consisted of videos related to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (vanilla), but only a couple of the many had content taken directly from the upcoming expansion.

These two videos showed some small conversations from Blood and Wine, in which Geralt talks to a few guards after apparently having killed a monster. The second video contains a few dialogue lines from the Blood and Wine expansion.

It is indeed weird that the entire panel and slideshows of the game’s presentation at the GDC have been published on YouTube, but hey, we don’t complain if we’re getting new footage of an expansion.

Recently, it was revealed that The Witcher 3 had broken the record for the most Game of the Year awards ever given to a single standalone title. With its endless mods and great open-world design, the game is still going strong nearly a year after its release despite being a singleplayer-only experience.
