Blizzard Entertainment has been discussing the new Diablo 3 Season 6 a lot lately and finally its time has come. The Season 6 has been added to the public testing realm (PTR) as of today.

The community manager of Blizzard Entertainment, Brandy Camel aka Nevalistis took to the official forums of the game with her blue posts to announce the news.

However, she has also revealed that Blizzard has, on a very short notice, wiped the PTR of all past information alongside the update that has brought the new season.

Diablo 3 Season 6 is Live on PTR Now!

Season 6 is now live on the PTR as of today, March 23, at 5:00 p.m. PT. As part of the Season launch preparations, the PTR has been wiped of existing information. You will need to copy your character again if you wish to continue testing outside of Season 6. We apologize for the short notice.

She has also explained that if you import a character from the live version of the game to the PTR once the Season 6 has started, your seasonal characters will automatically be converted into non-seasonal characters. Needless to say, “Season 6 characters must be leveled in the Season 6 environment.”

Very rare is the chance when you get a game where pirates decide to pay the price to the developers decades after they pirated the game, and it keeps growing. With the introduction of Diablo 3 Season 6 to the PTR, we are edging closer to the next chapter, one of many to come.

Are you going to take part in the PTR for the new Season?
