Star Wars Battlefront Xbox One Will Support DX12

Star Wars Battlefront Xbox One will be the first game to support DirectX 12 on Microsoft’s console. The news came from GDC 2016 where Microsoft’s Principal Group Program Manager, Jason Ronald, shared Battlefront’s upcoming support.

Other DX12 titles are going to be Hitman, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Ashes of the Singularity, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

On a related note, Star Wars Battlefront is getting a VR experience that is going to be exclusive to PlayStation VR. Unfortunately, Sony didn’t mention any details about Star Wars Battlefront VR experience. It is possible that it the future Battlefront VR may head to Oculus Rift as well.
