How to Increase The Division Air Filter Level

Those players who pre-ordered the Division can simply equip the Hazmat Suit and survive inside the quarantine zones, but the other players must rely on increasing the Division Air Filter levels which is quite simple.

This guide basically details everything you need to know about increasing a character’s Air Filter level in Tom Clancy’s the Division:

Air Filter Level

Your character’s Air Filter level is essentially linked to the Medical Wing inside the Base of Operations. Inside the area, you will come across multiple upgrades which will enhance Air Filter level.

In order to do this, you simply need to head over to the Medical Wing, find a list of all the available Perks, load the upgrades, and see which ones work best for you.

It is important that you acquire one of these upgrades early in the game, say Hazmat Unit which costs 400 Medical Supplies, and gain access to the otherwise inaccessible areas.

The reason for this is because these quarantine zones usually house Ultra Rare and Legendries which can come in handy in some of the main missions and endgame content.
